Part Time Driver (Manheim)

Driver I - Non‑DOT Management Level Individual Contributor Flexibly scheduled part‑time drivers needed at a specified Cox location (no remote option). Shift times are Tuesday 7:00am–4:00pm, Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm, and Friday 8:00am–4:30pm. Pay is $15.12 per hour with a $500 sign‑on bonus after 90 days. Job Responsibilities Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner. Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to customer dealerships and businesses, observing all driving rules and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving. Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the supervisor or team leader; move vehicles as necessary. Locate “lost” vehicles. Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed. Inflate tires and jump‑start vehicles using a battery box and air tank if necessary. Notify the supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify the Service or Gas Truck Driver when the vehicle is out of gas. Assist customers (dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkers as needed. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate. Qualifications Valid driver’s license required; safe drivers needed. Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly. Ability to sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear frequently. Must stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb as frequently required. Ability to lift 1–15 pounds. Vision requirements: close, distance, and color vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Previous auction experience. Preferred: Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Work Environment Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise level. Drug Testing Must clear a pre‑employment drug test.
