Ryder is hiring a  CDL A regional reefer driver in Harrisonburg, VA . Ryder regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and/or on weekends or a combination of both. A regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas. Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,787+
  • Solo Miles Pay: 76 CPM with 1,800 - 2,100 miles per week
  • Solo Stops Pay: $17.50 per Stop with 4 - 8 Stops per Week
  • $50 per night in the truck with 4-5 nights per Week
• Bonuses

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• 7 day week operation with 2 consecutive days off
• • Dispatch Time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Route: FL GA NC MI WI IL OH CT NJ NY, PA
• Freight: No Touch – Chicken

Equipment:

• Sleeper
• Reefer 53'
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Harrisonburg, VA
