Cable Technician

*Long-Term Data Center Project | Entry-Level Opportunity*
*We're seeking motivated Cable Technicians to support a large-scale data center build project. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with structured cabling experience who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing industry while working on a long-term project.*
What You'll Do
* Pull and route network and communications cabling
* Assist experienced technicians with structured cabling installations
* Handle and transport materials throughout the project site
* Install cable trays, wireways, racks, patch panels, and related infrastructure
* Build telecommunications closets and install supporting hardware
* Terminate and test cabling connections
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Climb ladders and work at various heights as needed
* Support fiber optic and copper cabling installations
* Follow safety procedures and project standards
What We're Looking For
* At least 1 year of structured cabling experience
* Experience pulling, routing, and terminating cable
* Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a construction environment
* Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Must have basic hand tools and be comfortable using power tools
* OSHA 10 certification preferred or ability to obtain prior to start

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, VA.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
