We are hiring a Field Service Technician to support automated systems at a customer site in the Toledo, OH area.

This role is focused on hands-on troubleshooting, testing, repair, maintenance, and technical support for industrial automation and robotics equipment. The ideal candidate has experience working with electro-mechanical systems, automated equipment, robotics, PLCs, or material handling systems. This position will primarily support a customer site in the Toledo area. Some flexibility is required for occasional travel, onboarding, weekend support, or assistance at other customer locations as business needs arise.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated equipment at customer sites.
• Support PLC software configuration, live testing, and system go-live activities.
• Assist commissioning engineers during installations, startup, and customer handoff.
• Provide technical support to customers, end users, and internal teams.
• Help identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation-related issues.
• Support customer training when needed.
• Participate in a rotating support schedule as required.
• Serve as a technical point of contact at the customer site.
• Document service activity, issues, repairs, and follow-up needs.
• Identify potential service opportunities or recurring technical concerns at customer sites.

Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, material handling, or related technical equipment.
• Ability to support installation, testing, startup, and service work.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• PLC experience or exposure preferred.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing field environment.
• Comfortable working at heights when required.
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional approach to work.
• Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends based on customer needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $30–$35/hour, depending on experience.
