Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide pharmacy expertise in a Specialty Pharmacy setting located in Brainerd, MN, supporting long-term care services. This role involves dispensing medications, managing prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Location:
- Brainerd, MN
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Some weekend shifts required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive long-term care pharmacist duties including medication review and management
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription dispensing
- Provide immunizations as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and pharmacy records
- Support patient counseling and education
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- PharmD degree required
- Immunization Certification preferred
- CPR Certification required
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is a plus
- Experience working in retail or specialty pharmacy settings highly desirable
