SAP ABAP Developer (SD & Revenue Recognition)
Should be able to go on site two days in Dallas, Texas, or Milpitas, California. There are two other locations in Florida and Pennsylvania. Exp 9-11 Develop, enhance, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) within the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Revenue Recognition modules. Collaborate with functional teams (SD and RevRec) to analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing SAP processes. Implement and optimize ABAP-based enhancements such as user exits, BADI/BAPI implementations, enhancement points, and IDoc/BAPI interfaces to support sales order processing and revenue accounting. Design and develop custom reports and data extraction programs to support revenue recognition calculations, contract accounting, and SD billing processes. Support system integration with third-party applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across order-to-cash (OTC) and revenue recognition workflows. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient ABAP code in accordance with SAP best practices. Provide production support and issue resolution for SD and RevRec functionalities, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes. Document technical specifications, configurations, and development standards, ensuring traceability and alignment with project and audit requirements.
