This is supporting a project with the National Cancer Institute.This is a full-time position to work at our client site in Rockville, Maryland or Bethesda, MD. This role is based in-office and requires working on-site five days a week.Job Responsibilities* Working with nurses and other members of an interdisciplinary team to collect data.* Data entry into various tracking systems* Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the data collected utilizing various tracking systems.* Requesting medical records, imaging, and reports and pathology material from outside institutions* Supporting clinical activity at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center and in the field.* Facilitating specimen collection (assembling collection kits, communicating with lab and research participants, etc.)* Providing administrative support as needed.### Basic Qualifications* A bachelor’s degree in health or social science or related fields.* At least one year of experience in research and/or clinical work.### Preferred Qualifications* Experience with specimen collection, processing and shipping.* Demonstrated communication skills.* Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients.* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced area.* Organization skills, including time management ability.* Detail oriented.### RequirementsWestat offers a well-rounded and comprehensive benefits program focused on wellness and work/life balance.
