They are responsible for creating day‑making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making world‑class hand‑crafted beverages and bringing the Purpose and Values of Caribou to life in every interaction. Core Responsibilities Provide incredible guest service by developing ongoing relationships with guests, practicing active listening, and anticipating guest needs. Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests. Create day‑making experiences that spark a chain reaction of GOOD. Hand‑craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures. Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings according to standard operating procedures. Float between barista and guest service roles, willingly fulfilling all team‑member responsibilities. Takes guest orders and manages the cash drawer, following all cash handling policies. Maintain the look and feel of a well‑run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards. Actively think and act on what the team and guests will need in the future. Differentiates between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support. Understand that the team manages multiple priorities and willingly takes direction from leaders. Skills and Qualifications Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends. Must be at least 16 years of age. Preferred: Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 50 pounds. Sitting, standing, bending, and moving intermittently during 4 to 8 hour shifts. Seeing, hearing, speaking, and reaching required. Compensation Compensation Range: $11.23 – $18.71 per hour (subject to local and state minimum wage regulations). Location 4135 W.
