Direct message the job poster from Davis Search New DEPUTY GENERAL COUNSEL role that will report to the Chief Legal Officer for a fast growing PE backed industrial company. Will be the CLO's "right-hand" person and day-to-day lead on all commercial and corporate transactions. North Atlanta based, Hybrid (2 days a week in the office). Local candidates only. What the job is about: Will be the CLO's "right-hand" person Will have overall responsibility for all things contracts including structuring, negotiating, drafting and reviewing Will be responsible for streamlining the contract process which will include improving the contract management systems and processes currently used Will work very closely with the sales teams along with other business management executives Will assist in hiring a more junior corporate attorney and manage that new hire along with a paralegal and contract manager Will assist with mergers and acquisitions Will be involved with numerous different projects What you will bring: JD + 10 years of corporate / commercial experience with a strong preference for both firm and prior in-house experience. Prior in-house experience is a must. Must possess extensive contracts experience including experience with contract management systems Prior experience updating contract management systems is strongly preferred Must possess very strong oral and written communication skills Prior people management experience preferred but not necessary Prior industrial or manufacturing experience is necessary A willingness to roll up your sleeves Why?
