Machine Operator and Packer

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Machine Operator and Packer to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a commitment to safety, and a basic understanding of mechanical operations which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Pittsburg, KS

What's the Job?

• Read a tape measure and perform basic math skills.
• Stack finished goods properly on pallets and place protective wrapping for storage.
• Complete pallet tags before sending to the finished goods staging area.
• Maintain good attendance and assist co-workers when needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent work experience with machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.
• Basic understanding of production processes and quality control.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
