This is a high-impact, enterprise-wide leadership role for a seasoned attorney ready to shape strategy across one of the nation's most dynamic integrated energy, refining, and logistics companies.About the RoleAs VP, Assistant General Counsel, you will lead a critical sub-function within our Legal organization, managing a broad and sophisticated portfolio that directly influences the performance of Delek US and Delek Logistics. You'll operate at the intersection of business and law—advising executive leadership, mitigating enterprise risk, and building a high-performing legal team.What You'll DoCorporate Governance & Securities — Advise executive management and the Board on risk mitigation, compliance policy, and securities matters.Compliance & Ethics - Support the Company's compliance and ethics program, advise on regulatory requirements, corporate governance, investigations, and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives.Insurance & Risk Management — Oversee the Company's insurance portfolio, claims strategy, and risk financing programs while partnering across the enterprise to mitigate operational and financial risk.Mergers & Acquisitions — Lead the legal strategy and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and post-closing integration.Enterprise Leadership — Set the strategy for your area of responsibility, contribute to enterprise-wide functional strategy, and lead and develop a team of legal professionals and people leaders.Cross-Functional Partnership — Collaborate with HR, Finance, Internal Audit, Operations, and business leaders to advance legal, compliance, insurance, and enterprise risk objectives.What You'll BringJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active State Bar membership (Required)Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred15+ years of combined in-house and/or law firm experience7+ years of management experience, including managing people leaders, with progressive management responsibilityDemonstrated expertise in corporate governance, M&A, commercial transactions, compliance, insurance and risk management, litigation, and enterprise legal strategyEnergy, refining, midstream/logistics, or related industry experience strongly preferredLeadership CompetenciesWe're looking for an executive who leads through Change Agility, Collaboration, Decisive Decision Making, Drive for Results, and Team Building—someone who takes an enterprise-wide perspective and elevates the people around them.CHANGE AGILITY (LEVEL 5 SHAPING):Identifies, initiates, and adapts to organizational changes that foster enhanced effectiveness, efficiency,safety, and ultimately business results.COLLABORATION (LEVEL 5 SHAPING):Sees connection points across the organization and partners effectively with others to achieve common goals.DECISION MAKING (LEVEL 5 SHAPING):Selects a course of action to reduce risk and uncertainty and create optimal outcomes.DRIVE FOR RESULTS (LEVEL 5 SHAPING):Drives to achieve challenging performance objectives.TEAM BUILDING (LEVEL 5 SHAPING):Builds trust, fosters openness, and provides support.
