Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience is needed. First-time travelers are welcome. The position requires working three 12-hour shifts on days. Weekend coverage includes every other weekend and every other holiday. The clinician will float within the scope of respiratory therapy as needed. The role involves adult critical care and emergency department skills. Responsibilities include extubation, intubation assistance, nasal airway management, and tracheostomy care. The therapist will manage high flow nasal cannula and perform sputum specimen collection. Familiarity with troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation is essential. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support for patient care. All requests for time off must be included in the initial submittal. Preferred candidates will have experience with specific charting systems and community hospital settings. Trained staff will provide guidance on the electronic medical record system.
