Radiation Therapist RT(T) - Brachy

Overview BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Senior Brachy Certified Radiation Therapist for the Center for Advanced Medicine – CAM (4921 Parkview Pl., St. Louis, MO) – Barnes-Jewish. Position Details: Day Shift, Mon-Fri (6:15am-4:45pm); Full-Time (40 hours per week); no weekends for this role. Responsibilities Prepare patients and chart prior to the start of the procedure; deliver treatments to patients; complete the treatment process; coordinate patient scheduling; prepare supplies and assist physicians with procedures; administer radiopharmaceutical treatments; provide patient education. Cross-train or pick up shifts for other teams within the Radiation Oncology system. Utilize advanced treatment techniques with the latest technology in radiation therapy. Imaging - Radiation Therapy and Dosimetry; Clinic operations. Administer HDR treatments. Qualifications Completed an accredited Radiation Therapy program. Board Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RT(T). Minimum experience includes 2-5 years in Radiation Therapy. Brachytherapy experience not required; training provided. Education and Licenses High School Diploma or GED – Radiation Therapy.
