Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorStaff On Site is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support clients in the professional and technical services industry. In this role, you will inspect products, components, or processes to ensure they meet specifications and customer standards, using measuring tools, checklists, and documentation systems. You will record inspection results, flag nonconformances, and work with supervisors to resolve quality issues. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, adherence to safety procedures, and clear communication with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesInspect products, parts, or materials against specifications and work instructionsUse measuring devices, gauges, and visual inspection methods to verify qualityDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality recordsIdentify, tag, and report nonconforming products or processesCommunicate quality issues to supervisors and production staffFollow safety, housekeeping, and company policies at client sitesSupport root cause investigations and corrective actions when defects occurWork efficiently to meet daily inspection quotas and deadlinesRequired SkillsQuality inspectionUse of calipers and micrometersReading specifications and work instructionsDocumentation and recordkeepingNonconformance reportingBasic computer skillsMeasurement and tolerancesSafety complianceRoot cause awarenessTime management
