Quality Control Technician
Our client, a manufacturing organization dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Gordonsville, TN
Pay Range: $21.00 - $22.75
Shift: 2nd shift (6:00pm - 2:30am) Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
- Perform line and dock audits to verify quality standards are maintained
- Build up and check parts daily to ensure accuracy and quality
- Collect samples and data to assist in problem solving and process improvements
- Issue quality alerts and rework instructions with required signatures
- Communicate any issues or unsafe conditions to the Quality Engineer and Operations team
What's Needed?
- Work experience in quality control or related field, automotive preferably but not required
- Willingness to cross-train and learn new skills
- Ability to work the designated shift and overtime as required
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Effective decision-making skills and a positive attitude
- Visual inspection, ability to conduct repetitive hand gripping, reaching with hands and arms
