As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 01:45 PM - 09:45 PM Tue 01:45 PM - 09:45 PM Thur 05:45 AM - 01:45 PM Fri 05:45 AM - 01:45 PM Sun 01:45 PM - 09:45 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding shift activities, policy concerns, and security‑related observations. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
