Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients, clients, and staff.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate patient and administrative records.
- Review and audit patient records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Prepare reports, project summaries, correspondence, and other business documents.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
- Manage incoming documentation and ensure information is properly organized and filed.
- Operate office equipment including computers, scanners, fax machines, and other standard office technology.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other data management programs to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive patient information.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, patients, and other professionals.
- Prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Follow established procedures and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Assist with additional administrative duties and projects as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Medical field or medical office experience preferred.
- Experience with data entry and auditing patient records required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
- Familiarity with general administrative and clerical procedures.
- Experience operating scanners, fax machines, and standard office equipment.
- Strong knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and professional business writing.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while following instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Computer training or certification preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
