Senior Engineer of macanical simulation

Responsibilities:

1. Lead cell-level structural-mechanics research and build accurate mechanical-condition simulation models, with correct layer relations and material parameters, to describe component behavior and assess failure risk.

1. Lead cell-to-pack electro-thermal-mechanical multiphysics coupling models, studying load transfer and defining reduced-order-model usage standards.

1. Set the roadmap for AI-assisted structural simulation to raise overall accuracy and efficiency.

1. Identify the team's simulation gaps against the pack product roadmap and lead targeted technology development.

Requirements:

1. PhD in mechanics, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, or materials.

1. Strong theoretical, engineering, and material mechanics, elastoplasticity, finite-element theory, and engineering thermophysics.

1. Finite-element tools such as HyperWorks, Abaqus, Ansys, and nCode; knowledge of Li-ion cell structure and physicochemistry.

1. Familiarity with metal and plastic mechanical properties and test methods; Pro/E or CATIA; and common forming processes (injection molding, tooling, welding, stamping, casting).
