If you're looking for a firm with a strong team connection where you can be your whole self, have an impact, advance your skills, deepen your experiences, and have the flexibility and access to constantly find new areas of inspiration and expand your capabilities, then consider a career in Advisory.KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.Responsibilities:Utilize data wrangling tools and coding languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL to extract valuable insights from data through analyticsAssist in technical processes from ideation to delivery: Research, experiment, and utilizing data methodologies to build pipelines / scalable analytic tools using leading technologiesRegularly conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and provide expert documentation / operating guidance for usersExecute data operations essential for analysis, including tasks such as data cleansing, data integration, and data transformationDevelop data engineering designs and translate efforts between business / technical stakeholdersMonitor performance and reliability of data systems, identifying / resolving issues while proactively optimizing logic and model performance by code tuning, streamlining, resource allocationQualifications:A minimum of three years of technical data engineering experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferredBachelor's degree from an accredited college/universityExperience with programming languages (Python, PySpark, SQL)Experience with data quality management: Ability to ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency through data validation, cleansing, and error handling techniquesExperience with data processing / ETL knowledge: Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools for data ingestion, integration, transformation Expertise with development tools / methodologies (Agile, git, test driven development, CI/CD release management)Proven ability to rapidly ingest, transform, engineer, and visualize data Ability to travel as required to support firm engagementsApplicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearanceKPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
