Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor

Position Summary The Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, safety, and overall operation of the company's buildings, equipment, utilities, and facility systems. This position supervises maintenance personnel, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manages outside contractors, and ensures the facility remains safe, clean, efficient, and operational. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities Maintenance & Facility Operations Supervise daily maintenance and facilities activities to ensure efficient operation of the facility. Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, building systems, and utilities. Respond to equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies and coordinate timely repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related issues. Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems regularly to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards. Coordinate repairs, renovations, installations, and facility improvement projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment history. Ensure tools, equipment, spare parts, and maintenance supplies are properly maintained and inventoried. Supervision & Leadership Lead, schedule, train, and evaluate maintenance and facilities employees. Assign daily work and prioritize maintenance requests based on operational needs. Provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance to maintenance personnel. Promote accountability, teamwork, productivity, and professional conduct.
