Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide (Full Time, 7am-3pm)

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide Schedule: Full Time, 7am - 3pm Salary: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience Shift differential for evenings, nights and weekend shifts Benefits Generous PTO Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays Aetna Health Plans, Dental, Vision Child Care Reimbursement – up to $25/day Compassionate PTO Donation Program – to support a team member Flexible Scheduling Employer Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program PTO Cash Out Program Retirement Plan – 401(k) with company match Resident Care Aide Responsibilities Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights Maintain and document proper records of care Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc. Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities Resident Care Aide Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law One year working in a caring capacity preferred Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required Peregrine Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
