Phlebotomist- Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist for its Montclair, New Jersey location to perform blood collections across multiple clinical sites. The role involves venipuncture, specimen processing, patient data entry, and customer service with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and travel to additional clinical sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited program (in lieu of experience)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
