Director of Real Estate

Redpath Partners are working alongside a privately held international real estate investment and development firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. With roots internationally, the firm expanded into the U.S. market nearly 20 years ago and has since assembled a large, diversified land and development portfolio across multiple high-growth U.S. markets. The company focuses on research-driven, value-oriented investing, targeting opportunistic and often under-capitalized land and development sites. Its strategy emphasizes disciplined underwriting, downside protection, and long-term value creation across both urban infill and large-scale master-planned suburban opportunities. With a multi-billion-dollar development pipeline and holdings spanning thousands of acres nationally, the firm operates with a lean investment team and a hands-on approach to sourcing, entitlement, capitalization, and execution. The Director of Real Estate will work closely with the Head of Development, the CIO and the Executive Team, helping translate investment strategy into execution across the group's real estate portfolio. The role serves as an important link between the investment and development sides of the business, ensuring strategy, analysis and execution remain aligned. This is a hands-on investment role focused primarily on asset strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, underwriting and transaction execution. It is well suited to an analytically strong real estate professional who understands investments, can manage transactions and is comfortable working across internal teams, brokers, consultants and other external stakeholders. Work with the CIO and EVP to develop and execute strategies for existing and prospective real estate investments. Analyze investment opportunities, including underwriting, financial returns, sensitivities, market conditions and potential risks. Support and manage acquisitions and dispositions from evaluation and negotiation through due diligence and closing. Coordinate brokers, consultants and internal teams in the acquisition, positioning and sale of assets. Support asset marketing, including offering materials, data rooms and transaction documentation. Monitor investments and market conditions and identify opportunities to improve returns, reduce risk or adjust strategy. Review transaction, entitlement and other project-related documents with a commercial mindset and identify issues requiring further analysis or specialist input. Maintain frequent, proactive communication with leadership and project teams, ensuring material developments, deadlines, risks and decisions are communicated quickly and clearly. Candidate Approximately 7-8 years of relevant real estate experience; level may be flexible for an exceptional candidate. Experience in real estate investment, acquisitions, dispositions, underwriting, brokerage or a related field. National homebuilder experience preferred. Single Family Land Experience preferred. Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to evaluate risk and return and translate analysis into useful recommendations. Understanding of the real estate investment lifecycle; experience with land and development is a plus. Experience working with brokers, buyers, sellers and/or transaction counterparties. #J-18808-Ljbffr
