What Transteck Offers Competitive pay rates based on experience and billable hours State‑of‑the‑art facilities Best‑in‑class training programs in our on‑site technical training center Opportunities to advance technical and leadership skills through on‑the‑job training, growth and development On‑site laundry service for company‑provided uniforms Job‑specific PPE Boot allowance Prescription safety glasses Group medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) Position Requirements High school diploma, GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Valid driver’s license Must provide own hand tools Position Preferences Commercial driving license Heavy‑duty truck experience Technical training school or equivalent experience Technician Duties Determine cause of malfunction using manufacturer‑approved troubleshooting guides, test drive, or online/printed service manuals Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs Perform requested labor operations using recommended procedures, tools, and equipment Document work performed and applicable technical information Note additional needed work and obtain approval before proceeding Clean all parts that have been worked on and keep customer vehicles clean Maintain housekeeping and organization of personal work area Maintain tools and equipment Order parts according to dealership procedures Tag all warranty parts and return all dirty cores to parts in a timely manner Perform repairs within manufacturer standard repair time guidelines We are an equal‑opportunity employer.
