Senior Oracle Developer/Data Lead

Work Model Hybrid (Primarily Remote within New York City; onsite attendance required on an as‑needed basis for client meetings) Job Description Seeking a seasoned Oracle Technical Data Architect to oversee the execution of data migration and cleansing activities. This role requires deep Oracle expertise, structured reporting capabilities, and strong coordination with internal teams and external consultants. The ideal candidate will lead technical efforts, ensure high-quality deliverables, and maintain alignment with project schedules and governance standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and execution of Oracle-based data conversion scripts. Define and document detailed data migration and cleansing strategies. Align data services work plans with overall project timelines. Submit structured bi-weekly status reports covering risks, metrics, and deliverables. Prepare meeting agendas and document outcomes using JIRA. Ensure deliverables meet formatting, volume, and review-cycle standards. Collaborate with internal staff and independent verification consultants to resolve issues and validate data quality. Provide technical leadership and propose innovative solutions to complex data challenges. Mandatory Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in data migration leadership. Expertise in Oracle 19c and advanced PL/SQL. Oracle Data Migration-related certification. Proven ability to produce structured reports and high-quality written deliverables. Experience leading technical teams and documenting reconciliation frameworks. Familiarity with JIRA or similar project tracking tools. Preferred Skills & Certifications Informatica Certified Professional (ICP) Strong written communication skills for formal documentation and reporting.
