Travel Registered Nurse OR Job

Overview Registered Nurse – OR travel assignment in Chico, California, starting 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks in an acute care hospital setting with operating room coverage. Weekly pay range is $2,636–$2,794 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 rotating. This assignment requires California RN licensure, OR experience, and Epic EHR proficiency. May float to main OR when needed. Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR and EOC outpatient surgery, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Maintain sterile technique, support the surgical team, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Monitor patient status, manage intraoperative hemodynamics, and administer medications as directed by protocols and physician orders May float to the main OR when needed, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and circulating staff to cover priority cases Document care and events accurately in the Epic EHR; communicate changes in patient condition to the team Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and unit policies to maintain high-quality perioperative care Requirements Active RN license in California (Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing) Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience Current BLS certification; EPIC experience required ACLS and PALS preferred Ability to work in a dynamic OR environment and, if needed, float to main OR Must have successfully completed prior travel assignments and be able to meet agency requirements Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing process Housing assistance available Extension opportunities for continued travel assignments Nationwide assignments within the Healthforce network Referral bonus up to $1,000 for eligible referrals #J-18808-Ljbffr
