Job Description
Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Current nursing license in the state of assignment
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of travel experience, preferably showing renewals

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess and triage patient conditions for appropriate level of care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care and responses accurately in the electronic medical record

Compliance / Notes:
- COVID vaccine is no longer required but highly recommended by this facility
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- St. Mary's will not consider previous staff members as travelers
