Registered Nurse - Newborn Nursery Opelousas, LA Specialty: Newborn Nursery Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 8 weeks Pay: $1518 - $1829 | Shift: 3x12 Nights Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for caring for newborns? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner's team in Opelousas, LA. This travel position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of newborns and their families. As a Registered Nurse in the Newborn Nursery, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to newborns. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and assessing the health of newborns
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Educating and supporting new parents in newborn care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Current RN license
- NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Need 1 year experience in setting
