Job Description Human Interface Design (HI) is the product design organization within the client's Reality Labs. We are designing the experiences that will define the next era of computing across the full spectrum of hardware and spatial computing platforms. Our ambition is to make intelligence feel natural, empowering, and deeply human. It's a rare moment to define a new category, and design is central to winning it. The team operates as a studio. This means designers have the opportunity to move between projects and product areas, giving individuals a breadth of experience across some of the most ambitious and technically complex design challenges in the industry. We're an in-person design culture, collaborating 3+ days per week at our Design hubs. Rapid prototyping, hands‑on hardware access, and real‑time feedback on physical products require us to be in the same space, working shoulder-to-shoulder in these locations: Burlingame, CA Seattle, WA New York, NY Los Angeles, CA Consumer Core The Consumer Core design team is responsible for the player-facing experience — where people discover, play, and remix games they love with friends. We're designing the end-to-end journey of how people find games that match their interests, connect with friends through shared play, use agents to make the games their own, and participate in a digital economy. The design challenges span cross‑platform interaction models, social systems at scale, discovery and engagement loops, and building trust in emerging paradigms. Social gaming is the future, and we are poised to make a big splash in the market later this year. Creator Tools The Horizon Creator Tools design team is responsible for suite of AI‑native creation tools that empowers anyone to build rich 2D and 3D games — no coding or modeling expertise required. We're designing across desktop and mobile to enable creators to bring their ideas to life wherever they are, in minutes and without a large studio budget. The design challenges span interaction models for AI‑assisted authoring, spatial interfaces, and creative workflows that serve everyone from player‑creators and hobbyists to professional game developers.
