About This Role:
Join Crusoe Energy as an Assembly Lead and spearhead the building building assembly of our innovative manufactured products and components. You will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team that performs the building assembly of manufactured products and components to completion. This full-time, hands-on role is crucial for maintaining production flow and upholding our commitment to quality, as you’ll ensure every product is installed and finished with precision. You will review work orders to guarantee your team has all necessary resources—including hardware, components, and in-house parts—while coordinating with other department leads to proactively prevent material shortages. What You’ll Be Working On:
Assembly Crew Leadership: Lead, train, and coach your assembly crew, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Manage crew PTO and sick time to ensure optimal manpower and uninterrupted departmental operations.
Building Assembly & Preparation: Spearhead the material handling and installation of structural and mechanical equipment within the building integration process, as well as performing seam caulking and comprehensive preparations to ensure every unit meets safety standards and is ready for shipment.
Work Order and Material Verification: Meticulously review work orders to confirm the availability and accuracy of all required materials, including hardware, components, and in-house parts.
Product Labeling and Compliance: Oversee the review and proper installation of company logos, labeling, NEMA Ratings, and UL information on all finished products.
Production Schedule Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with the production manager and department leads to ensure strict adherence to schedules, promptly communicating any changes to Project Management and Sales to maintain internal alignment.
Continuous Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your work team, focusing on enhancing procedures, processes, and methods to ensure safety and quality in every task.
Work Area and Inventory Management: Maintain an organized work area, keep parts inventory accurate, and manage materials efficiently to proactively prevent production delays.
Team Resource and Backfill: Act as a flexible floater and vital resource, stepping in to backfill production team members when required to ensure continuous operational flow.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Leadership & Development Experience: Background leading, coaching, and developing a manufacturing team. Proven success improving team team members' performance and abilities.
Manufacturing Experience: Background working in industrial or heavy manufacturing
Mechanical Aptitude: Possess a high level of mechanical aptitude for understanding assembly processes and troubleshooting equipment.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs, and to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily.
Computer Operation: Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back to efficiently operate computers and related equipment.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail.
Drawing & Material Interpretation: Ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to independently identify, locate, and verify all necessary parts and hardware before beginning assembly.
Learning Agility and Problem Solving: Eager to learn with strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively.
Professionalism and Responsibility: A highly motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates professionalism and willingly accepts responsibility for team outcomes.

Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.
Bonus Points:
Metal Manufacturing Experience: Background working in a heavy manufacturing facility or industrial shop that hat dealt with large-scale metal components and products
Licensed Forklift Operator
ERP: Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as Infor Visual, Acumatica, or another similar program.
MS Office & Google Workspace.
ISO 9001:2015
Electro-mechanical experience
Safety Experience: Experience with workplace safety programs, hazard identification, or safety committees in a manufacturing environment
Lean Manufacturing: 6S (Six Sigma), Lean Manufacturing training, experience leading continuous improvement projects

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $30-35/hr + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
