Senior Product Manager - Storage & Docks


The Senior Product Manager will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of OWC's product lines across multiple categories. This role is responsible for defining what we build and why, ensuring every product aligns with customer needs, business goals, and market direction.


You will work closely with the SVP of Product to shape the strategic direction of your assigned category or categories, build a clear roadmap, and drive products forward through every stage of development. You will also utilize a gate-based development process to track progress, align teams, and bring in the right stakeholders at key checkpoints.


What a Senior Product Manager Does at OWC

Senior Product Managers are responsible for the success of products throughout their lifecycles. They define the vision, gather customer insights, analyze the market, and lead cross-functional collaboration from concept to launch. While engineering focuses on how a product is built, the Senior Product Manager focuses on what to build and why. Their job is to bridge customer needs, business priorities, and technical execution, while mentoring and guiding junior product managers.

What Will You be Doing?
• Own the full lifecycle for OWC's products, from early concept through launch and ongoing management
• Work directly with the SVP of Product on strategy, roadmap planning, and long-term vision across multiple product categories
• Define product requirements based on customer feedback, research, and competitive trends
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sourcing, and operations to define product features, cost targets, and timelines
• Use a gate-based development process to ensure clear checkpoints, team alignment, and timely stakeholder reviews
• Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
• Monitor product performance after launch and lead any needed updates or lifecycle planning
• Present updates and recommendations to executive leadership
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the product management team


What You Bring with You?
• 7 or more years of experience in product management, ideally in consumer hardware, peripherals, or related fields
• Proven track record managing products from concept to launch in a structured development process
• Strong communicator who can lead cross-functional work and write clear product requirements
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to build business cases and prioritize smartly
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities within product teams
• Passion for building tools and solutions that support a diverse range of users and professionals


Compensation Structure for the Position


The compensation package for this role includes a base salary of 100-145K USD. The amount of variable compensation will be determined based on your experience, skills, and performance.
