In a healthcare landscape where acute and post-acute talent is highly competitive, this role is central to our ability to deliver quality, safe patient care across the continuum.### ### Job SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Manager, Physician and APP is responsible for planning, developing, managing, and overseeing Physician and APP Recruiters and system-wide recruitment initiatives dedicated to Sentara Medical Group roles.This Manager leads the operational framework for the recruitment strategy, establishing programs and policies that drive contemporary, data-informed practices tailored to the realities of clinical and operational hiring, including licensure requirements, specialty pipelines, and competitive labor markets. This position serves as an influential advisor who understands evolving staffing needs and stakeholder expectations, translating them into innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies.The Manager builds and maintains the organization's employer brand. owns workforce planning for hiring needs across these settings, and tracks key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, using that data to continuously strengthen team performance.This role influences outcomes and communicates closely with Talent Acquisition Advisors, Consultants, and Specialists, sharing best practices and modeling a customer-focused approach to understanding the needs of hiring leaders across these care settings. The Manager oversees the effective attraction, screening, selection, and development of a high-performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline that supports safe staffing levels and quality patient outcomes at scale.This role requires maintaining confidentiality and operating with efficiency and integrity in a fast-changing clinical staffing environment, while driving accountability and operational excellence.### ### Key Responsibilities* Develop and execute recruitment strategy, programs, and policies across the system* Own full-cycle hiring oversight of recruitment roles* Lead workforce planning and hiring forecasts in partnership with clinical and operational leaders, and HR Business Partners* Build and strengthen employer brand presence within the acute and post-acute care community* Monitor and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, specialty pipeline health) to drive continuous improvement* Coach, mentor, and develop Talent Acquisition Advisors, Consultants, and Specialists focused on Physician and APP recruitment* Partner with hiring leadership using a consultative, customer-focused approach to fill high-acuity and hard-to-fill specialty roles* Ensure compliance with licensure, credentialing, and hiring requirements throughout the recruitment process* Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and operational efficiency in a fast-changing environment### ### Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required* 5 years of recruitment experience and 3 years of leadership experience required; recruitment leadership experience preferred* Experience managing a team of recruiters at scale (high-volume hiring environment) preferred* Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics platforms preferred* SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred **Benefits: Caring For Your Family and Your Career****•** Medical, Dental, Vision plans• Adoption, Fertility and Surrogacy Reimbursement up to $10,000• Paid Time Off and Sick Leave• Paid Parental & Family Caregiver Leave• Emergency Backup Care• Long-Term, Short-Term Disability, and Critical Illness plans• Life Insurance• 401k/403B with Employer Match• Tuition Assistance – $5,250/year and discounted educational opportunities through Guild Education• Student Debt Pay Down – $10,000•Pet Insurance •Legal Resources Plan •Colleagues have the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus if established system and employee eligibility criteria is met.**Sentara Health is an equal opportunity employer** and prides itself on the diversity and inclusiveness of its close to an almost 30,000-member workforce.
