Training Support Lead (Collective Training Branch)

Training Support Lead (CTB) The Training Support Lead (CTB) is responsible for delivering Mission Command training across multiple unit sizes—from squads to corps—within training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations to Unified Land Operations. The lead collaborates with unit and government leadership to develop effective training methods and materials, including curriculum, lectures, and computer‑based training aids, in accordance with client and user specifications. Responsibilities Manage the delivery of Mission Command training based on exercise plans. Oversee the ongoing operations and future development of Collective Training. Provide professional development and certification oversight for subordinate personnel. Coordinate cross‑branch interaction during Event / Exercise lifecycle management. Supervise subordinates by approving timecards, tracking yearly goal progress, and approving leave requests. Develop training methods and materials to support the Unit Commander’s training objectives. Lead the creation of TSP training products, including comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of MC systems and simulation systems. Coordinate all phases of Event / Exercise lifecycle management—planning, preparation, execution, recovery, and After Action Reports (AAR). Consult with users to design, create, and configure systems that meet training requirements. Develop unique training environments tailored to unit training requirements. Deliver small, medium, and large collective training events in accordance with the established MTC training program. Lead internal AARs upon completion of training. Direct and monitor the upgrade and adoption process for Operational Readiness Tests (ORT). Provide guidance on training, integration, and simulation/stimulation support for various functional areas. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required to support customer needs. Qualifications Education/Experience: BA/BS or equivalent with 15+ years of related experience supporting military operations. Security Clearance: Secret clearance required to begin work. Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge of training program delivery, the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC). Proficiency in mission command systems and emerging mission command technologies; MCS proficiency preferred. Excellent presentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail. Location and Schedule Fort Campbell MTC – Normal work schedule is 07:30‑16:30; may require night or weekend shifts depending on training event needs.
