In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced medical devices, from precision instruments to state-of-the-art video systems, directly within a hospital environment.

Working alongside Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing Department (SPD), and BioMed teams, you will help ensure surgical readiness, equipment reliability, and exceptional customer support. Shift: Monday – Friday, Location: MD Anderson Cancer Center | Compensation: $19.28 - $28.19/hr

• Provide hands-on support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment.
\n
• Set up and support video towers and integrated surgical systems used during procedures.
\n
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment.
\n
• Clean, transport, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for clinical use.
\n
• Manage repair processes, equipment tracking, and service-related transactions.
\n
• Resolve real-time equipment issues in the operating room to support successful patient procedures.
\n

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
\n
• Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, healthcare support, medical device sales, or a related clinical environment.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
\n
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
\n
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
\n

• Associate's degree.
\n
• CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification.
\n
• Experience supporting surgical equipment, endoscopic systems, or medical devices.
\n
