Job Summary Primary Duties Design and analyze layouts, components, and detail drawings for new products with a Project Manager and design team. Apply drawing tolerances using spec limits and GD&T and perform accurate tolerance stack-up analysis. Ensure completeness and accuracy of all CAD work and maintain well organized records; utilize 3D modeling software to produce new 3D models and drawings, and drawings of revised designs. Work closely with development and test engineers to create appropriate test and validation plans for new and revised plans. Apply concurrent engineering techniques on all projects and, work and communicate closely with all team members from engineering and other functional areas. Ability to run FEA to determine that proper materials and designs are being utilized. Qualifications Qualified candidates have familiarity with metal fabrication, machining, welding, and shop floor experience. Qualified candidates can develop descriptive geometry, auxiliary view, projections, sectioning, and tolerance on all engineering drawings. Must be proficient with SolidWorks CAD software for 3D modeling. Education / Experience Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing, produce design or a related engineering field is required. Two plus years’ experience preferred. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $69,000.00 to $85,100.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
