Our Client is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Manager – Incentive Risk Management to join its Enterprise Risk Management function.

This role focuses on overseeing risks associated with incentive compensation programs, ensuring alignment between performance objectives and risk management principles. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening governance frameworks, advising stakeholders, and enhancing controls across enterprise‑wide compensation practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead oversight of risks associated with incentive compensation programs across the organization
• Ensure alignment with established governance standards, regulatory guidance, and the organization’s risk appetite
• Provide independent review and challenge of compensation program design and execution
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and analytical reviews to identify trends, potential exposures, and emerging risks
• Evaluate compensation structures, including global or complex plans, to ensure appropriate risk mitigation
• Support ongoing validation and back‑testing of incentive programs and performance outcomes

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners including Human Resources, business units, and risk teams
• Provide risk advisory and guidance to support decision‑making related to compensation strategy
• Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication of risks, insights, and recommendations

Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance

• Deliver reporting and insights on incentive‑related risks to leadership and governance bodies
• Support regulatory compliance requirements and internal policy adherence
• Contribute to audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments
• Maintain and enhance internal policies, standards, and frameworks related to incentive risk
• Stay informed on evolving regulatory requirements and market practices
• Help streamline processes and improve effectiveness of risk management practices

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in incentive risk management within the financial services industry
• 5+ years of experience in incentive or executive compensation design, governance, or risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidance related to incentive compensation
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing key decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to leadership
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and simplify complex concepts
