Assistant General Manager

Karravaan is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations and support the overall performance of the business. This role works closely with the General Manager to ensure strong service execution, team accountability, operational organization, and an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate is highly present on the floor, leads by example, understands high-volume service, and knows how to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily FOH operations and manage service flow
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and staff development
• Maintain high hospitality and service standards
• Handle guest relations and resolve issues professionally
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and team accountability
• Support inventory, ordering, cleanliness, and operational systems
• Help drive sales, efficiency, and overall restaurant performance
• Work closely with the GM and leadership team on daily operations and long-term growth

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume environments
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality operations
• Flexible availability including nights and weekends
