Lighting Project Manager

About the Role Turtle in New York is actively searching for a Lighting Project Manager to join our team in Manhattan, NY. The Lighting Project Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of lighting projects from order entry to project closeout and managing customer expectations with the support of the department. What You'll Do: Oversees the complete lifecycle of lighting projects - ranging from small to large-scale commercial retrofits -ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. Serve as the central hub of communication between clients, vendors, and electrical contractors, managing the technical details, procurement, and site logistics Maintain schedules with weekly updates Oversee multiple projects Track shipments Work in a team environment internally as well as with customers Project billing Generate and maintain change orders Seek opportunities to increase sales/margin Organize and manage documents What You'll Bring High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with MS Office and Outlook required A blend of technical expertise in lighting systems (LED, controls), project management proficiency (scheduling, budgeting) Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, contractors, etc. What We Offer We offer a competitive benefits package that includes: 401(k) plan Health insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid holidays Vacation Employee negotiated discounts Who We Are Founded in 1923, Turtle is a fourth-generation, family-owned, and three-generation women-owned business, and one of the nation's largest independent electrical and industrial distributors.
