Exciting opportunity available for a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a rewarding contract role in a vibrant educational setting. Work directly with elementary and middle school students in a supportive environment, helping them achieve essential communication milestones throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut SLP license (CCC required)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Proficient in delivering both group and individual therapy to diverse age groups, especially elementary and middle school students
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to integrate speech/language targets into the classroom
• Attend eligibility and IEP meetings as needed, providing expertise on language and communication goals
• Travel between elementary and middle schools during standard school hours (8:45am – 3:45pm)
