Site Reliability Engineering Intern

Salary: $52,000 - 62,400 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking candidates who are currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program, with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• We are looking for experience gained through coursework, projects, or internships in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or similar, along with Linux/Unix systems and core networking concepts.
• We value familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and automation tools, whether learned academically or through hands-on work.
• We are looking for an understanding of system monitoring, observability, application reliability, troubleshooting, and performance optimization principles.
• We prefer exposure to tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Jenkins, Bitbucket, PCF, or similar technologies through coursework, projects, internships, or self-directed learning.
• We want strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus a willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate effectively with a team.
• We require candidates to be eligible to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship; this role is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

• We will rely on this intern to support production readiness for our products as part of our Business Operations Site Reliability Engineering team.
• We expect the intern to help ensure our platform remains stable, healthy, and resilient.
• We will involve the intern in operational design, automation, capacity planning, and monitoring activities that support fault-tolerant and scalable products.
• We will have the intern contribute to the creation and enforcement of operations standards while helping foster an agile, learning-focused culture.
• We expect the intern to assist with daily operations, including triage, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems with attention to business impact.
• We will have the intern engage early in the development lifecycle to support proactive production and change management.
• We will involve the intern in risk management and compliance-related activities across our environments.
• We expect the intern to provide continuous feedback that helps align product and customer priorities with operational needs.
