Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic

Location: Scottsboro, AL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient orthopedic care in a fast-paced clinic environment. The position requires effective management of scheduled patients, emphasizing efficient and quality care. The role may include working with first-time travelers and new graduates, as outpatient experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer appropriate therapeutic interventions as per the patient's needs.
• Manage a patient load of 12-14 patients per day, ensuring productivity standards are met.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred.
• New graduates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
