If you love a fast-paced environment where your precision, organization, and logistics skills directly impact the company's daily success, you'll fit right in.Shifts available: Sunday through Tuesday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PMA variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:High school degree or GED with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment2+ years of receiving, stocking, or picking inventory for the staging in a production environment or packaging for outside customers a plusForklift and Reach truck certification is a plusthe ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basisOn top of that you must:have the ability to operate a Forklift or other PIVs for the majority of shiftspay close attention to details to successfully move/ pull the correct producthave basic computer skills, including Pace and Googlebe self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needsplan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own workhave the ability to work independently, make decisions and solve moderate level problems independently, effectively and creativelycomplete jobs accurately within deadlines, while meeting company quality standardsapply effective time management and self-management skillsunderstand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee and customer informationflourish in a team-oriented environmenthave a positive attitude alwayscan handle change what you are doing quickly and effectivelyhandle a fast-paced environmentIn this position, you will:receive, transfer, and track raw materials and work-in-process (WIP) from production areas and accurately track it into TBG's systems regarding quantities received and transferred. Follow up with Warehouse Manager where the inventory count to be transferred is greater than the inventory quantities in the location noted in the system to resolve discrepanciessafely operate all types of forklifts for the majority of shiftscomplete an inspection log of the PIVstand, walk, and move around the plant and office areas repeatedly throughout the daymove materials from the incoming area to appropriate staging lanes or shelvesupdate systems with new counts and locationassist in the disposition of inventory overagesremove scrap from the production area in support of maintaining safety standards as defined by OSHA and TBG's policiescomplete other duties assigned by your managerTo get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be:able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
