This role will assist with Catalyst Development in the Engineering Development team and will be based in Fremont, CA and San Jose, CA.This is a fully on-site, in office role.Role and Responsibilities:Lead catalytic material qualification and testingOwnership of implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process testing, test systems, and analyzer equipmentCollect, analyze, and organize test dataPrepare and deliver status updates and in-depth data presentations.Organize, track, and assist in major catalyst projects and applicationsCollaborate and communicate with cross functional teams on a regular basisSkills and Experience: Qualified individuals have a B.S/MS in chemical engineering or related area.0-3 years experience.Internship experience.Strong Chemical Engineering backgroundHands on lab scale experience- Internships, lab assistant, or otherwiseFamiliar with gas analyzer equipment such as Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectroscopy, and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy.Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following relevant topics: catalyst development, process development, air quality, combustion, emissions chemistry, thermodynamics, and fuel processing.Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong project management skillsSelf-starterTeam orientedHighly organizedStrong problem-solving skillsBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
