Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse (RN) MS REHAB Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from neurological injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex health issues within a rehabilitation hospital setting. The role emphasizes a team-oriented approach to enhance patient recovery and independence.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. The shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a rotation every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree, 2+ years of nursing experience in acute rehabilitation or related inpatient settings. The position requires experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in step-down units, wound care, respiratory treatment, BiPAP, CPAP, and management of neuro, orthopedic, or cancer diagnoses.
• Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive bedside care to adults and geriatrics, including physical, cognitive, and behavioral rehabilitation, utilizing specialized skills in neuro and orthopedic patient management.
• Additional Information: Candidate must report on the first reporting time of 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM. Scrub color is navy blue. The work environment involves caring for rehabilitation patients with varied diagnoses, requiring team adaptability and flexibility.
