Front Office Supervisor- AC/Moxy

$20 per hour

Position Overview Schulte Hospitality Group (SHG) is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Front Office Supervisor to oversee daily front‑office operations, including guest services, staffing, and administrative duties. Assign and supervise specific duties for efficient operation of the department. Assist in training new associates and cross‑training existing ones. Participate in interviewing and hiring new associates. Promote teamwork and associate morale, treating people with respect and recognizing successes. Maintain thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and ensure staff responses appropriately. Monitor daily status of rooms, rates, discount rates, and packages. Maintain current list of available rooms for walk‑in situations and coordinate blocking of rooms. Check printed registration cards against arrival reports and rectify discrepancies. Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests and pre‑register guests according to standards. Complete and monitor employee schedules and monitor VIP arrivals. Notify Maintenance Department of any maintenance issues. Track room status to ensure accurate readiness for check‑in. Hire, coach, and discipline direct reports and resolve guest issues professionally. Demonstrate knowledge of EEO policy, Fair Employment Practices, and Fair Labor Standards Act, promoting a harassment‑free work environment. Act as Manager on Duty as required. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives. Education and Experience In‑depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations. Basic math skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Strong leadership skills. Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members. Excellent time‑management skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to multi‑task. Team player. Ability to exceed expectations of guests. Understanding of the hiring process, including interviews, drug screens, background checks, and reference checks. Schulte Hospitality Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
