EMTs provide basic emergency medical care and transport for patients in need. They respond to emergency calls and assist paramedics in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions during transport
• Administer basic life support and first aid
• Assist in lifting and transporting patients to medical facilities
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of emergency vehicles and equipment
• Document patient care and incident reports accurately

Requirements:

• Completion of an EMT training program
• State certification/licensure as an EMT
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-stress environments
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
