MRI Technologist Part-Time/PRN

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI scans on patients, ensuring that the images produced are of high quality and that the patient is comfortable throughout the process. The MRI Technologist will also be responsible for maintaining the MRI equipment and ensuring that it is in good working order. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans on patients as directed by physicians Ensure that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the scanning process Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to the MRI scan Maintain the MRI equipment and ensure that it is in good working order Troubleshoot any issues with the MRI equipment and make necessary repairs Maintain accurate records of all MRI scans performed Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during MRI scans Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field Certification in MRI technology Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have some availability for nights and weekends!
