Position Summary: Administration includes but is not limited to recruitment and development of players, adherence to relevant policies and procedures, budget accountability, travel logistics, competition, and fundraising. Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain the highest degree of ethical, safety, and legal standards in fulfilling the university's mission and success of the rugby club sports program Recruit qualified student-athletes who will perform at a high level academically, ethically, and athletically -Manage the A-State Rugby Club’s strategic development, annual training plans, utilization of resources and facilities, budget, and fundraising efforts Promote contemporary coaching practices and relevant skill and fitness requirements -Measure, monitor, and evaluate the development and performance of athletes and assist in talent identification. Possess a thorough understanding of eligibility criteria to participate in relevant competitions Implement standards to assist students' fulfillment of their degree requirements and degree progression Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of academic policies; knowledge of USA Rugby policies. General Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Weekends/Travel Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance Other: Please note: all position postings close at 12:00 A.M. CST on the position closing date Minimum Qualifications: An earned Bachelor's Degree is required Must possess experience in advising and recruiting students, academic policy, and experience working with student-athletes.
