This inpatient facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population, with physician support and pending APP support available to assist with clinical operations. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural, recreational, and historical attractions suited to varied interests. Interactive and history museums, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center along the Missouri Riverfront, and an art center with rotating exhibits provide cultural options, while over two miles of hiking trails at nearby nature areas and Stone State Park offer outdoor recreation. Sports enthusiasts may attend minor league baseball, indoor football, and hockey games, and golf courses within 20 miles of downtown provide additional options. Walking tours, a farmers market, and a juried art festival held on Labor Day weekend further reflect the area's cultural offerings for clinicians during time away from clinical responsibilities.

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day shift basis with call and 24-hour call responsibilities at this on-site facility, with a schedule of 10 days per month. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding, managing consults, and performing procedures, with approximately 50% of the assignment dedicated to procedural work; ERCP experience is preferred. Call coverage is a required component of this locum tenens engagement, structured on a 24-hour call schedule. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
