Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Registered Nurse – Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular

Variable shifts required, including days with varied times, either 8 or 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours weekly. Call is required 1-2 days per week, approximately every 2-3 weekends, including holidays.

Serves as part of a call team consisting of 4 individuals.

Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.

Experience with monitoring systems such as Sensis.

Knowledge of radiology equipment and imaging procedures.

Demonstrates knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures.

Applies specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implantation, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) insertion.

Conducts hemodynamic monitoring for patients.

Maintains understanding of procedures related to Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine.
